What Is BT-26: Timeless Bonds?
Booster Set 26: Timeless Bonds releases September 4, 2026, completing the emotional trilogy that began with BT-24 Time Stranger. Where BT-24 introduced the Time Stranger game world and BT-25 evolved the Dual Card mechanic, BT-26 delivers the dramatic finale — faithfully recreating the powerful climax of Digimon Story: Time Stranger, the hit RPG released last year.
At 108 card types across 24 packs per box, BT-26 is a full-size main booster set carrying significant competitive weight. It continues the [TS] trait established in BT-24, brings the Olympos XII faction back as Dual Cards, introduces two fan-anticipated debuts in Chronomon: Destroy Mode and Giant Slayer, and gives further support to the BeatBreak and Data Squad decks introduced in ST-23 and ST-24.

The Time Stranger Finale: [TS] Trait Completion
BT-26 completes the Digimon Story: Time Stranger narrative arc with a full lineup of characters from the game’s emotional climax. Cards with the [TS] trait allow players to literally recreate the story’s dramatic beats within the card game. This is the deepest level of game-to-card narrative synchronization Bandai has achieved in the English TCG.
Olympos XII As Dual Cards
The Olympos XII faction — the twelve divine Digimon gods based on the Greek Olympians — arrive as Dual Cards in BT-26. This is a major moment for the set. Jupitermon, Neptunemon, Minervamon and others as Dual Cards means the Olympos XII archetype gets a completely new strategic identity, turning what was previously a lore-focused build into a competitive dual-function threat.
BeatBreak & Data Squad Enhancements
Following ST-23 BeatBreak and ST-24 Data Squad starter decks and their BT-25 powerups, BT-26 continues strengthening both archetypes. The [Glowing Dawn] and [DATS] decks receive additional cards, deeper synergy pieces, and new evolution options. Players who built around ST-23 and ST-24 should expect meaningful upgrades here.
New Debuts: Chronomon: Destroy Mode & Giant Slayer
Two of the most anticipated card reveals for BT-26 are Chronomon: Destroy Mode and Giant Slayer — both powerful new Digimon making their TCG debut. Chronomon: Destroy Mode is the antagonist form of Chronomon: Holy Mode (which appeared in BT-24), completing one of the most iconic Digimon Story villain transformations. Giant Slayer is an entirely new Digimon concept designed for the Time Stranger setting.

Jupitermon and Neptunemon are the most likely chase URs given their existing meta presence from BT-18.

Chronomon: Destroy Mode
The villain form of Chronomon. Where Chronomon: Holy Mode is a defensive stabilizer, Destroy Mode is the aggressive twin — expected to have powerful deletion effects, high DP, and mechanics that punish opponents who have used many [TS] trait cards. The symmetry between Holy Mode and Destroy Mode creates one of the most compelling two-card narrative pairings in the game’s history.

Super Rare — New Digimon
Giant Slayer
An entirely new Digimon designed for the Digimon Story: Time Stranger setting. Giant Slayer’s role in the story is to counter oversized threats — and the card game is expected to reflect this with effects targeting high-level or high-DP Digimon specifically. Niche but potentially a meta-warping anti-Mega tech card.
