2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, first released in Japan in October 1996. The 30th Celebration set is the flagship anniversary product — and it’s structured differently from any set in recent memory.

Every card in the 30th Celebration set is a foil. Not just the rares — every single card in the set receives a foil treatment. This makes it the first all-foil main expansion set in the game’s history.

What’s in the Set

The 30th Celebration set draws from across the game’s history — iconic Pokémon from every generation represented with anniversary treatments. Confirmed inclusions span the original 151 through recent Paldea Pokémon, with special callbacks to beloved sets including Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and the Legendary era.

The set also includes a new rarity: Anniversary Rare — cards with a special gold and silver foil border treatment available only in this set.
